Gap Mills - William "Bill" Donald Stone died Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Lewisburg, West Virginia, at the age of 78. Bill was born April 27, 1937 in Kentucky.

Son of the late Thomas Charles and late Agnes Huser Stone, he was raised in Washington, D.C. with three brothers and two sisters.  Bill graduated from St. John's Catholic Military School and attended the University of Maryland, College Park.

Bill, his wife and family moved to West Virginia in 1965 where he continued working in general construction with Rotim and Trion Construction companies in Princeton, West Virginia, until retiring. Bill and his wife moved to Monroe County in 2010.

Surviving family members are wife, Wilma Jean Timmons Stone and sons, Mark Stone (Tandy), Todd Stone (Rose), and Dean Stone (Kim), six grandchildren (Amanda, Christopher, Brittin, Cody, Kyle, and Amanda), two great grandsons, a sister, Patricia Kascak, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Carmel Cemetery on Zenith Road in Gap Mills, West Virginia. Friends may visit the family at Carmel Church on Zenith Road one hour before the service at 1:30 pm.
