WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV --- William Roscoe Hudson, age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the White Sulphur Springs Center, White Sulphur Springs, WV following a long illness. Born April 8, 1934 at Second Creek, WV he was the son of the late Russell and Maude S. Lephew Hudson. Mr. Hudson was farmer with the ability to do almost anything. He also attended the Union Church of God in Union.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Randolph Hudson; two children, Dorothy Hudson and Pam Anthony; one brother, Oren Hudson; and one sister, Ora Dunbar. Survivors include two sons, Michael Hudson and wife Rebecca of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Donald Hudson of Lewisburg, WV; one daughter, Patricia Kline and husband Jerry of Salem, VA; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV. Friends may call Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
