RONCEVERTE, WV --- Wanda Estelene Pence, age 78, of Ronceverte, WV passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV. Born March 30, 1941 in Union, WV, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Nancy Reynolds Ward. Wanda had worked as a secretary for Scotty's Tire and was a loving and caring homemaker. She enjoyed tending to the house and cooking for her family whom she loved dearly. Wanda was also a member of the Mt. Alexander Church at Sarton, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Pence; half-sister, Virginia Miller; niece, Debbie Dunbar. Survivors include, one son, Tommy Pence of Ronceverte, WV; one daughter, Tammy Ramsey and husband Jeff of Sinks Grove, WV; one brother, Richard Ward and wife Patty of Union, WV; three grandchildren, Crystal Byer and husband Rusty of Ronceverte, WV, Beth Herbert and husband George of Caldwell, WV, and Wesley Surface and wife Victoria of Fort Leonard Wood Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Tracee Byer, Ben Lane, Kenna Lane, Cora Smith, Sonny Herbert, Brooklynn Surface, Dewey Surface, and Peyton Boger; two nieces, Renae Bradley of Sinks Grove, WV and Sandy Arthur of Union, WV.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Hughllyn Wilson and Wayne Weikle officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Alexander Church Cemetery at Sarton, WV. The family will receive friends Friday, March 13, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
