UNION, WV --- Victor John Burgess, age 64, of Union, WV, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at his home in Union. Born September 23, 1958 in Ware, Massachusetts, he was the son of Patricia "Pat" Burgess of Union, WV and the late John "Ford" Burgess. Victor loved his family dearly especially his children and grandchildren. He had worked as a truck driver for several years. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and drag racing, as well as a fan of the New England Patriot football team. Victor simply loved life to the fullest, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle every chance he had. He had touched many hearts and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Burgess and his father-in-law, Harold "Boots" Keeling. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Josh Burgess and wife Toni of Burlington, Vermont, and Daniel Cox and wife Nicole of Union, WV; one daughter, Alicia Hershelman and husband Chris of Conneautville, PA; one brother, Bob Burgess and wife Mickey of Union, WV, one sister, Brenda Gutierrez and husband Sam of Las Vegas, Navada; mother-in-law, Rosa Lee Keeling of Sinks Grove, WV; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Union Church of God in Union, WV with Pastor Mike Smith officiating.
