UNION, WV --- Steven Lee Wickline, of Union, WV, passed away at the age of 41 on Saturday, November 20, 2022, at his home and in the presence of his family.  He was the son of Kathy Walker Wickline and the late Arnold Lee Wickline.  Steven was a 1999 graduate of James Monroe High School where he served as Student Body President and a 2004 Graduate of West Virginia University.  Steven will always be remembered as a great friend, son, brother, and uncle.

He was an avid sports fan who had an amazing memory of sports results and statistics that would stretch for decades.  In his free time, he would travel all over the country to dozens of Nascar Races and WVU sporting events.  Residents of Union will always remember the hard-working man who managed "The Station" for the last 10 years.  He took great pride in operating his family's business and serving the community even in the final days of his life.

Steven had several health problems that he lived with since birth.  Most will never know the daily struggle he endured.  However, Steven made the most of his time and those who truly knew him saw a kind, generous person who would do anything for his friends and family.

Surviving is his mother, Kathy Walker Wickline of Union, WV; brother, Shane Wickline and wife Monica of Frederick, MD; sister, Shelby Morgan and husband Robert of Fairmont, WV; niece, Kendel Wickline of Frederick, MD; best friend, Sam Wickline of New Orleans, LA; Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Following the services, the family will have a private burial at Carmel Cemetery in Gap Mills, WV.
