GOOCHLAND, VA --- Steven Laird Bostic, 65 of Goochland, Va. passed away peacefully on Monday morning, December 4, 2017 at his home.
He was born August 8, 1952 at Union, WV a son of the late Richard Rankin and Ruth Kidd Bostic.
Mr. Bostic was employed at Dominion Energy Inc. for 36 years as a mechanical supervisor. He was a long-time member and President of the Goochland Farm Bureau, who loved farm life and bestowed that love to his children; who will carry on his legacy in the grain and cattle industry.
He loved to tell amusing stories from his life events, being a generous man with a huge heart and always a smile and greeting for all he met. His life was well lived.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Charlene; children, Tish and Jacob and wife, Stephanie Bostic and granddaughter, Makinley Grace Bostic; brothers, Richard and wife, Freda Bostic, David and wife, Debbie Bostic and a host of nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:30 pm. Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union.
