UNION, WV --- Shirley Gail Mossor Walker, age 83, of Union, WV, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA following a short illness. Born December 9, 1938 at Beatrice, WV, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Marie Nicholson Wince. Shirley graduated from Little French Beauty Academy in Bluefield, WV and continued her career as a hairdresser. She was the owner and operator of "Ye olde Style Shoppe" in Salt Sulphur, WV. She enjoyed people and was an active community person. She was an avid writer and crafter. She had served on the board of the Monroe County Senior Citizen Center in Union and was a member of the Union United Methodist Church in Union, WV, where she was active in the food pantry ministry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major Walker; one daughter, Debra Gail Mossor; one son, Terry Duane Mossor; and one sister, JoAnne Snow. Survivors include, two sons, David Mossor of Harrisville, WV, and Charles "Chuck" Mossor and wife Virginia of Sykesville, Maryland; one daughter, Jeane Michelle "Missy" Beasley and husband Paul of Salt Sulphur, WV; one brother, Kenneth "Kenny" Wince of Edgewater, FL; two sisters, Betty Wells of Harrisville, WV, and Dorothy Lieving of Harrisville, WV;  grandchildren, Jared Mossor and wife Melanie, Matthew Mossor, Dylan RookStool and wife Samantha, and Wesley Rookstool; great-grandchildren, Eli Lemaster, Adilynn Lemaster, Jace Hoke, and  Jaxton Rookstool; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Union, WV. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
