WIKEL, WV--- Shirley May Amos Copeland, age 59, of Wikel, WV passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her residence. Born July 19, 1958 at Union, WV she was the daughter of Charles Amos Sr. and Frances McMhan of Lindside, WV. Shirley was retired from the UTC formerly BF Goodrich Plant at Union, WV. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed every minute caring for her family. She attended the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith, WV.
In addition to her parents Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Roger Copeland of Wikel, WV; two sons, David Copeland and wife Sandy of Wikel, WV and Chris Copeland and companion Hannah Potter of Lindside, WV; three brothers, Charles "Junior" Amos, Jr. and wife Sheila of Rock Camp, WV, Carl Amos and wife Linda of Pine Grove, WV, and Howard Amos and wife Robin of Rock Camp, WV; two sisters, Judy Hicks and husband Joe of Peterstown, WV and Brenda Peck and husband Wayne of Rock Camp, WV; three granddaughters, Chloe, Kaylee, and Nevaeh Copeland all of Fairlea, WV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith, WV with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the John Comer Cemetery at Wikel, WV. Friends may call Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Groves Funeral Home in Union, WV. David Copeland, Chris Copeland, CJ Amos, Allen Bennett, Bobby Amos, and Jimmy Craig will serve as Pallbearers.
