SINKS GROVE, WV – Shelby June Wickline, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. Born July 23, 1961, in Summersville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Smith and Phyllis Shaver Smith. Shelby enjoyed attending church at the Crimson Springs Church in Zenith, WV. She loved to work and enjoyed painting and taking care of her beautiful flower beds. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Dennis Junior Smith, Charles Smith, Gloria Downey, and India Webb.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, Gerry Wickline; two sons, Eric Wickline of the home, and Shawn Wickline (Donna Winebrimmer) of Sinks Grove, WV; one daughter, Shannon Dunbar (Robbie) of Gap Mills, WV; her grandchildren, Addyson and Braxton Dunbar of Gap Mills, WV; siblings, Denver Smith of OH, Ardena Smith of CA, and Lena Wright of WV; and special friends, Brenda Hoke, Pamela Moore, Sharon McCallister, Aunt Carol McCourt, and Leonard and Shirley Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Keenan, WV.
