WAITEVILLE, WV --- Sharon Patricia Bennett, age 78, of Waiteville, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Stonerise-Lindside in Lindside, WV. Born March 31, 1944 in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of the late Stuart and Delores Donaldson Robertson. Sharon was a warm loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had worked military base security along with numerous other jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed the art of painting. She loved painting beautiful landscapes and mountains, and she also painted pictures of bears in nature as well.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Constance Marie Bennett. Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Teddy Bennett of Waiteville, WV; one daughter, Angela Joy of Tacoma, WA; one brother, Chris Robertson of Auburn, WA; one sister, Marti Robertson of Italy; two grandchildren, Kyle Stark and Ethan Joy.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Paul Broyles officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
