GREENVILLE, WV--- Sandra Jean Mann, age 66, of Greenville, WV, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born July 7, 1948 at Ronceverte, WV she was the daughter of the late Paul Erastus and Minnie Katherine Collins Smith. Mrs. Mann was retired from the Monroe County Board of Education with over 30 years of service as a teacher's aide. She was a member of the Mt. Hedding United Methodist Church at Lillydale, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Franklin Mann and a granddaughter, Dena Nicole Lester.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Conway and husband Patrick of Princeton, WV and Rebecca Brim and husband Shannon of Lashmeet, WV; four grandchildren, John Thomas Johnson, Katherine Lynn Johnson, Bradley Lee Brim and Dylan Paul Brim; one sister, Susie Brown and husband Donald of Suffolk, VA; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Herman Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hedding Cemetery at Lillydale, WV. Friends may call Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
