ALDERSON, WV --- Sandra Kay Parker Brown, age 53, of Alderson, WV passed away March 6, 2019 following an extended illness. Born July 31, 1065 at Union, WV, she was the daughter of Josephine Kountz Parker and the late Percy Raymond Parker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Coe Parker; a sister Catherine Ellen Parker; grandparents, Aubrey Russell and Ethel McClelland Kountz, and Bern Coe and Cora Weikle Parker. Survivors include her mother, Josephine Parker of Marion Station, MD; sisters, Frances Keohane and husband Sean of Marion Station, MD, Jane Skyes and husband David of Clintonville; Deborah Parker, of Alderson; Alma Grubb and husband George of Union, WV, and Shirley Parker and Jack Keaton of Alderson; niece, Lindsey Sykes; and nephews, David Lively, Jared Sykes, and Ryan Keohane.

Sandra graduated from Union High School in 1983 and was a long-time resident of Maryland before returning to her native state in 2013. At the time of her death, she was employed at United Technologies Corporation. Sandra donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at WVSOM.
