Ruth Ellen Buckland's Obituary
WAITEVILLE, WV --- Ruth Ellen Buckland, 54 of Waiteville, WV, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at CAMC General in Charleston following a sudden illness.
She was born in Summers County, WV, December 18, 1962 a daughter of the late Robert and Vada Sears Buckland.
Ms. Buckland was a homemaker and a member of the Tempa Baptist Church on Judson Mountain in Summers County.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, John Wayne Buckland.
Surviving is a son, Robert Buckland and wife, Tracy of Waiteville; 2 brothers, David Buckland of Lewisburg, James Buckland and wife, Delores of Lawrenceville, GA.; 1 sister, Mary Buckland Dickson and husband, Richard of Covington, VA.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the New Zion Union Church at Waiteville with the Rev. Bobby Reed and Rev. Jeffery Kanode officiating. Burial will follow at the New Hope Cemetery at Marie, WV.
Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 - 8 pm. Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
