WAITEVILLE, WV --- Roger L. Hall, age 72 of Waiteville, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence. Born March 11, 1949 at Clifton Forge, VA, he was the son of the late Jack L. and Edith J. Hall. Roger served his Country in the U.S. Army. He had worked several years at the Celanese Plant in Narrows, VA as a millwright. He was also the owner of Hall Excavating in Waiteville, WV. Roger was a lover of the outdoors and farming. He was a fanatic and responsible hunter of deer and bear.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Patricia A. Hall. Survivors include, two sons, John Hall and fiancé Cary Melvin of New Castle, VA, and Scott Hall and partner Lacy Nilges of Gap Mills, WV; one daughter, Lisa Hall of Cottonwood, CA; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Hall and wife Vickie of Waiteville, WV; one sister, Rhonda Hall and partner Melissa Elmore of Union, WV; grandchildren, Grayson Hall and Jack T. Hall of Cottonwood, CA, Tyler Hall of New Castle, VA, and Katlyn Hall of Gap Mills, WV.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor J.B. Bean officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery at Waiteville, WV. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12:00 noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Due to the regulations associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending the services should social distance and wear masks.
