Robert Conrad Huffman, age 52, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born September 10, 1974, he was the son of Richard and Shirley Taylor Huffman.

Robert worked as a contractor. He loved the outdoors, especially his favorite spot on Back Creek. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, family history/genealogy, driving his Ford Model A, and playing bluegrass music. He was a member of the Beirne Chapman Camp #148, the local chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Union. In keeping with Robert’s generous and loving spirit, he gave the gift of life through organ donation. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Beryle and Helen Huffman; maternal grandparents, Henry and Anna Mildred Taylor; daughter, Megan Thomas; significant other, Elisha Snyder; and uncle, David Taylor.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving wife, Suzanne Huffman; his children, Kameron and wife Jasmine, Maelyn and husband Devin, Haiden, Bodie, and Brett and wife Jaimi; grandchildren, Koen, Asher, Celine, Archer, and Alora; and too many special friends to name.
