SINKS GROVE, WV – Robert Sterling Hall, 87, of Sinks Grove, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV, surrounded by his family. Born March 28, 1938, in Union, WV, he was the son of the late Earl Cecil and Rose Ann Bostic Hall.

Bob met the love of his life, Lottie Kirby, and they were married on October 31, 1959. Bob was a logger in his early years, then worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker until he retired in 2006.

Bob was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Sarton, WV, and also attended Union Memorial Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and enjoyed reading his bible until he couldn't see good enough, and even then he would listen to his Audio Bible.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Kirby Hall on March 17, 2018; his half-brother, Earl Hall Jr.; brothers, Ernest, James, and Charles Hall; and sisters, Ina Grubb and Patty Weikle.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Kirby Hall of Fairlea, WV; one daughter, Cindy Weikle and husband Bobby of Union, WV; two grandchildren, Matthew Weikle and wife Jessica of Marlton, NJ, and Brandy Lester and husband Lloyd of Union, WV; great grandchildren, Kaydence Weikle of Greensboro, NC, Sienna Lester of Union, WV, and Owen, Lydia, and Liana Weikle of Marlton, NJ; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hall; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Mark Shafer and Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery in Sarton, WV. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
