Obituary

UNION, WV --- Riki Lee Miller, age 35, of Union, WV passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his residence. Born January 31, 1980 at Princeton, WV he was the son of Raymond Miller of Narrows, VA and Melinda Allen of Peterstown, WV. Riki was a 1998 graduate of James Monroe High School. Following graduation he attended Concord College. Later he became an electrician and was currently employed with Sowers Electric. Riki was a former member of the Lindside Volunteer Fire Department and was always ready to help out in the community whenever the need would arise. Riki was a true outdoorsman. Spending time in the woods deer hunting or out on the water catfishing was two of his favorite hobbies. He also loved spending time with his family especially his two daughters.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Richard Miller and his maternal grandfather, James A. Allen. In addition to his Parents survivors include, his wife Regina Dove of Union, WV; two daughters, Reanna and Rayleigh Miller of the home; one sister, Rachal Miller of Ballard, WV; two brothers, RJ Miller and wife Katie of Ballard, WV, and Jason Miller and fiancé Lindsay of Peterstown, WV; paternal grandmother, Donna Jean Miller of Union, WV and maternal grandmother, Evelyn Salerno of New Jersey; two uncles, Richard Miller and wife Marcy of Lindside, WV and James Allen and wife Marie of New Jersey; one aunt, Diane Coates of New Jersey; special cousin, Richie Miller and wife Wendy of Lindside, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Wickline Cemetery on Zenith Road with Rev. Otuce Huffman officiating.
Friends may call Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Groves Funeral Home in Union, WV. Jason Miller, RJ Miller, Richie Miller, Jarod Sowers, Mike Sowers, and Seth Brown will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Reanna and Rayleigh Miller fund at Celco Federal Credit Union P.O. Box 361 Narrows, VA 24124. Please make checks payable to Celco Federal Credit Union and be sure to put "Reanna and Rayleigh Miller Fund" in the memo on your check.
