SINKS GROVE, WV --- Richard William Lephew, age 60, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Summers Healthcare Center in Hinton, WV. Born July 28, 1963, in Greenbrier County, WV, he was the son of the late Elba William and Louella Gray Bostic Lephew. Richard was a truck driver, having started driving for Dr. Pepper and Seven Up. He later began driving for Broughton Dairy and finished up his career driving for the West Virginia Department of Highways. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Elmore; and two brothers, Charles Lephew and Avery Lephew. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Lephew; two daughters, Brittany Radford and husband Shaun of Pembroke, VA, and Ashley Lephew of Sinks Grove, WV; three grandchildren, Kendall, Kayden, and Kyler Radford, all of Pembroke, VA; two brothers, Elby James Lephew of Union, WV, and Tommy Lephew and wife Lois of Sinks Grove, WV; two sisters, Linda Elmore and husband Kenny of Sinks Grove, WV, and Betty Thomas of Lewisburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard will be cremated. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Richard's life will be held from 6:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to help with final expenses.
