UNION, WV --- Randall Glenn Roles, age 62 of Union, WV lost his battle with cancer on Friday, August 17, 2018 at his residence. Born December 18, 1955 at Union, WV he was son of the late Alva E. and Lennie J. Thorton Roles. Randall was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a dedicated employee of UTC at Pickaway, WV, for 44 years. He was a member of the MT. Hedding Church at Lillydale, WV. Randall loved to hunt and was a friend to all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mable Marie Wood Sewell Harvey, and his father-in-law, Ottis B. Wood. Survivors include his loving wife Nancy Mae Wood Roles of Union, WV, one daughter, Kelly Diane Wood Pickles and husband Daniel of Union, WV; one grandson, Cole Alexander Pickles of Union, WV; two brothers, Mike Roles and wife Gail of College Station, TX and Timothy Roles of Lillydale, WV; sister-in-law, Gwen Wood Harvey of South Carolina; nephew Jason Roles and wife Amy and their three daughters, Allison, Audrey, and Alexa all of Alvin TX; one niece, Stephanie Roles Meystadt and son Lucas of Alvin, TX; numerous aunts and uncles also survived; Randall also had numerous children in and around the community that he loved and cared for throughout the years.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV with Rev. Carl Mouser officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Hedding Cemetery, Lillydale, WV. Friends my call Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
