SINKS GROVE, WV --- Ralph Thomas "Tommy" Helvey,66, of Hollywood, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Tom was born December 17, 1954 to the late Virgil and Lorene Helvey. Also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Ronnie Helvey and Pattie, and his sister Carolyn Trainer. He was a member of Bruffey Memorial United Methodist Church of Hollywood, WV.

Surviving Tom include his wife Susan Helvey, sisters Norma Helvey of Hollywood, Rosemary Halcomb (Randy) of Chesapeake, Kathy Helvey of Hollywood, brother-in-law Frank Trainer of Neola, nieces & nephews: Lee Helvey (Heather), Melodie Wykle, Randall Halcomb (Sapna), Christinia Goins(Junior), Anthony Helvey, and Holly Halcomb, special friends, Dale Bland and David Saunders who were like a brother to him.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV, with Pastor Mark Smearman officiating. The funeral service will also be livestreamed on the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery at Hollywood, WV. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to recent COVID-19 outbreaks, the family suggests wearing a mask and social distancing for those who are planning on attending the services.
