LEWISBURG, WV --- Phyllis Ann Wilson Hanson, age 82, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV. Born December 20, 1940 at Wayside, WV, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Louise Ford Wilson. Phyllis was a retired cook from the Greenbrier Center in Lewisburg, WV after many years of service. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids all whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Adkins; her second husband, Floyd Gumm; her third husband, Clark Hanson; two sons, Chester Keith Adkins and David Leslie Adkins; two brothers, Willard Wilson and Melvin Wilson;  one sister, Donna Sue Boggess; and one sister-in-law, Betty Wilson.

Survivors include, three sons, William "Bill" Adkins, Jr. of Frankford, WV, Marshall Adkins and wife Linda of Rupert, WV, and Alan Adkins of Zenith, WV; two daughters, Kathy McClung and husband Roger of Gap Mills, WV, and LaDonna Joyce of Greenville, WV; one brother, Rick Wilson and wife Judy of North Carolina; one sister, Cathy Smith and husband Blaine of Wayside, WV; one brother-in-law, Harold Boggess; one sister-in-law,  Gail Wilson; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV with Pastor William "Butch" Legrand officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
