UNION, WV --- Pauline A. Wilson, 76, of Union, WV who made her home with a daughter, Lisa Sprowls and a granddaughter, Shayla Sprowls, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Peyton Hospice House at Fairlea following a long illness.
She was born at Second Creek, WV, May 8, 1941 a daughter of the late William Herman and Irene Mottesheard King.
She was a homemaker, a private caregiver and she was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Woodrow Wilson; 3 brothers, Howard, Paul and Billy King; 2 sisters, Ailene Holcomb and Effie Winebrimmer; a great grandson, Elijah Lucas.
Surviving are 3 children, Patricia Gentry and her husband, Charles of Floyd, Va., Lisa Sprowls of Union, Marshall "Bubby" Wilson and wife, Kelly of Sinks Grove; step daughters, Violet Roberts of London, Ohio, Joyce Powers of Springfield, Ohio, Bonnie White of South Charleston, Ohio, Barbara Legg of London, Ohio, Winnie Banion of South Charleston, Ohio; sisters, Margaret Hoke of Connersville, Ind. and Shirley Saunders of Fairlea; brothers, Minor King of Hollywood, Robert King of Ronceverte, Erik Leroy King of Alderson, Henry King and Stephen King of Boaz, Ala., Gene King in Indiana; 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Services will be held 4 pm. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Highland Park Community Church with Freddie Bostic officiating.
