GULF BREEZE, FL --- Paul Dion Adams, age 65, of Gulf Breeze, FL, formerly of Union, WV, passed away April 8, 2020 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born July 31, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert and Daisy Humphreys Adams. Paul was a graduate of Union High School and he attended Marshall University. He served his Country proudly in the U.S. Army. Paul was the owner of Down & Out Tree Service in Florida. He enjoyed traveling all over. He especially loved mountains and beaches. Paul was also an avid reader.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Roger Adams. Survivors include, one sister, Shelby Hall and one brother, Gary Adams and wife Peggy; sister-in-law, Mamie Adams; and nieces, nephews, and many friends that loved him dearly also survive.

In keeping with Paul's wishes he was cremated. A memorial graveside service with social distancing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Carmel Cemetery at Gap Mills, WV, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating.
