FAIRLEA, WV --- Patsy "Carol" Pyne Kinsey Nelson, of Fairlea, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022, surrounded by some of her family. Carol was born August 4, 1951 in Hollywood, WV, to Olin Winfred Pyne and Mary Pauline Feury Turner.

She was preceded in death by both parents, a grandson Tyler Wade, sisters Janet Payne and Lois Coffman. Surviving are sister Wanda Largen, brother Olin Pyne and brother Robbie Turner. Carol was a devoted mother of four girls, whom she loved fiercely with all her heart: Kim Anderson of Covington, VA, Sheila Stuple (David) of Fincastle, VA, Tami Fury (Donald) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Jeni Adkins (Robert) of Ronceverte, WV. She also had twelve grandkids who were her pride and joy: Jessica, John, Gus, Tyler, Autumn, Kayden, Peyton, Brandon, Brittany, Bella, Trey, and Hunter as well as five great-grandchildren: Austin, Kolten, Kinsey, Jonas, and Talyn.

She was a devoted homemaker when her girls were younger, she then became a dedicated hard worker outside the home form many years after until she retired. Carol enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, dancing, creating beautiful crafts and wreaths, gardening, watching hummingbirds, and she loved Blake Shelton.

Carol was a lady of true dignity and grace, and you could depend on her for anything. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Steve Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Feury Family Cemetery at Hollywood, WV. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
