PICKAWAY, WV --- Patsy Loretta Cook Jenkins, age 82, of Pickaway, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 following a long illness at Stonerise of Lewisburg, WV. Born January 16, 1940 in Wyoming County, WV, to parents Thomas Dewey Cook and Lakie Mae Bailey Cook. Patsy worked at BF Goodrich for 40 years. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Patsy didn't know a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 56 years, George Macil Jenkins; brothers, Buddy Cook and sister-in-law, Easter Cook, Glen Cook, Oather Cook; sisters, Josie Cook Valencia and Shirley Cook Brooks Morgan. Survivors include, sons, David Jenkins of Fairlea, WV, Mark (Wanneh) Jenkins of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Sue Jenkins Armentrout (Virgil) of Union, WV; grandchildren, Danielle Jenkins of Roanoke, VA, and Savannah Jenkins and Roman Jenkins of Atlanta, GA; brother, Lonnie Lee Cook and wife Helen of Falling Waters, WV; brother-in-law, Alvadore Morgan of Hillsboro, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
