WAITEVILLE, WV --- Myrtle Ruth Willard, 95, of Waiteville, WV passed away, May 22, 2017 at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Willard was born at Greenville, NC April 15, 1922 a daughter of the late Arthur Garfield and Myrtle Mae Garris Walters.
A son, Joe Edward Willard, Jr. preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Paint Bank Methodist Church and had worked as a bookkeeper for the naval shipyard.
Surviving is a son, James A. Willard and his wife, Barbara of Waiteville; a sister, Faye Smith and husband, Ed of Bath, NC; and 9 step grandchildren.
Mrs. Willard was cremated and Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
