UNION, WV--- Michael Andrew Mohler, age 36, of Union, WV passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his residence following a short illness. Born April 23, 1978 at Union, he was the son of Frank and Sharon Lashmit Mohler of Union, WV. Michael worked as a quality inspector for Mott Manufacturing at Maxwellton. He was a member of the National Speleology Society (NSS) and the Robertson Association for Caving Conservation.
He was preceded death by Grandparents; Dorothy Sullivan, Bill and Mary Mohler. In addition to his parents survivors include, one son, Wayne Mohler of Gap Mills, WV and one daughter, Lola Mohler of Gap Mills, WV; two brothers, Greg Mohler and Campion Sherry Sparks of Salt Sulphur, WV and Rick Parsons of Enterprise, Alabama; two sisters, Lorie Butts and husband Larry of Hedgeville, WV and Bonnie Shirley and husband Kevin of Bunker Hill, WV; Maternal Grandfather, Marshall Sullivan, Jr., of LaPlata, MD; Maternal Grandparents, Jim and Kathy Lashmit of Spicewood, TX; Maternal Great Grandparents, Marshall and Owna Sullivan, Sr., of LaPlata, MD; Nieces and Nephews, Jennifer Butts, Kristen Lemaster, Mark Shirley, Samantha Whitt, Austin Parsons, Nevaeh Cook, and Leland Mohler; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and several other friends and family members.
A celebration of Mikes life will be held 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Charlie Anderson officiating. Friends may call Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until time of services. The family would like to thank everyone for all of the prayers and support.
