Obituary

Mary Ellen Bradley Miller, age 79, was called home to the Lord on April 22, 2025, following a brief illness. Mary, a woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, was the daughter of Roscoe and Rosie Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marvin Brown Miller, Jr., Infant, her two sisters, Francis Arnold and Evelyn Guy, her brother, Jimmy Bradley, sister-in-law, Bonnie Bradley, her brother-in-law, Robert Guy, and niece, Suzi Raines. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family, being survived by her son, Marvin "Sport" Miller, and wife Darla, of Zenith, West Virginia, two grandsons Jared W. Miller and Levi R. Miller, also of Zenith, West Virginia, and one granddaughter, Madison Taylor, and husband, Sgt—Gavin Taylor, of Havelok, North Carolina. In addition to her son's family, Mary was survived by her brother, Frank Bradley, of Rock Camp, West Virginia, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary retired from B.F. Goodrich in 2013 and spent her retirement doing what she loved the most, serving the Lord through acts of love towards others. If you lived in Zenith, WV, or the surrounding area, you likely experienced her fantastic cooking and famous cinnamon bread. She never turned away a neighbor in need, always ready to comfort. Her life aspired to emulate Jesus, a trait she displayed to all around her. Mary was a cherished member of the Crimson Springs Church in Zenith, West Virginia, where she worshipped for many years. The Rogers family and her church family were of great pride to her, and she loved each of them dearly. Her service, which has left an indelible mark on our community, will be deeply missed, and we are forever grateful.

The family requests that in place of flowers or other memorials, anyone feeling led to act in Mary's memory do so by bestowing love and kindness to those around you.  Memorial contributions made in her honor should be contributed to the Chris Lowe benefit account at The Bank of Monroe. Your contributions will not only honor Mary's memory but also continue her legacy of love and kindness in our community, a legacy that we all must strive to uphold.

Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Crimson Springs Church, Zenith, West Virginia. The family will accept visitors from 12:00-1:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by a close friend, Pastor Jim Rogers, will begin at 1:00 p.m.

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" Isaiah 40:31
