UNION, WV --- Marvin Lee Honaker, age 76, of Union, WV passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his residence. Born March 18, 1942 at Union, WV, he was the son of the late Marshall and Edith Taylor Honaker. Marvin was a retired electrician from Hercules in Covington, VA. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. Marvin enjoyed working and staying busy. He enjoyed gardening and he loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Genetta and two brothers, Edison and Les Honaker. Survivors include, one son Travis Honaker and wife Jennifer of Union, WV; one brother, John Honaker and wife Edna of Union, WV; four grandchildren, Paige, Mason, Hunter, and Piper; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV with Pastor Bob Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Union, WV. Friends may call Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time of services.
