GAP MILLS, WV --- Martin Antonio Alexander Toliver, age 76, of Gap Mills, WV, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. He was Born November 9, 1943 in Monroe County, WV. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Bailey Toliver. Martin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and best friend. He was also the greatest stepfather anyone could ask for. He enjoyed his kids and grandkids dearly. Martin had worked for the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, WV and was a member of the Masonic Blue lodge in Lewisburg, WV. Martin loved sports and was a great athlete in his day. He also enjoyed being outdoors and taking special care of his yard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Alvin" Toliver. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Charlotte Toliver of Gap Mills, WV; kids, Donna Toliver, Tony Toliver, Dominique Toliver and girlfriend Rose Welch, Amber Gearheart and boyfriend Nick Blevins; Christopher and Anna Gearheart, Charity and William Meadows, Jennifer and Richard Sturms, and grandchildren, Shanelle, Eric, Shanice, Krystian, Nicholas, MiMi, Letty, Jaden, Eathen, Brayden, Cameron, Nevaeh, Kylie, Issac, and Mia; two great-grandkids; three sisters, Shirley Brackenridge and husband Butch, Mae Brown, and Mary Toliver; brother, Pete Toliver and wife Joyce; sister-in-law, Mildred Toliver; several nieces and nephews; his best friends, Ray and Katie Erskine, Donald Green, and many other special friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastor Kathy Holland officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing and wearing masks are highly recommended while attending the services.
