WIKEL, WV --- Mark Czaja, Jr. was born on July 25, 1991 to Dorothy Ellison Hunter and Mark Czaja, Sr. in Princeton, WV.  He died at his home on October 18, 2021.   He was 30 years of age.

Mark is survived by both of his parents as well as his paternal grandmother Georgianna CZaja from Higganum, CT and his maternal grandmother Judy Ellison from Greenville, WV.

In addition, He is survived by his sister Julianna York and family, his sisters, Janena Davis and Stephanie Long and their families and brother, John Long and his family.   He had extended family in Connecticut as well.

Mark left behind a wealth of friends in the area.  These folks, young and old, were like his family as well.

Mark was a logger by trade.   He loved his work and the community it encompassed.

He loved being outside in the natural world.

Mark was a believer in the golden rule, and he lived his life accordingly.   He believed in the gift of salvation.

Mark was loved deeply by all that knew him.   He worked hard no matter the task and he dedicated himself to lending a helping hand whenever he could.

The family and close friends will gather to lay him to rest at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Ellison family cemetery on Hans Creek, with Rev. Catherine Rolling officiating. Those planning on attending are asked to meet at the cemetery or along the road around 1:45 PM in front of Bert Ellison's home.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Latham, Joe Crawford, David Christian, Cody Mays, Jeff Dunn, Andrew Yarid, Matt Czaja, and Woody Wilson. Kenny Christian, Ed Profitt, and Nick Dalton will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Marks passing is almost unbearable but somehow, we must remember who he was and how he was.    He brought light to each of us.
