Aiken, SC --- Marilyn Parker Hoon, age 90, of Aiken, SC, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. Born January 8, 1932 in Covington, VA she was the daughter of the late Edward Stanley and Sarah Marie Watkins. She was a dedicated wife and homemaker who dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Stanley, mother Sarah Marie, brother Jarod, brother Stanley, brother Bruce, sister Ruth, sister June, husband Alfred, husband Fred, and granddaughter Hannah.

Survivors include two daughters Kitty and Charlene, two sons Wes and Chris, two stepsons Fred and Andy, step daughter Carolyn, and grandchildren Adam, Lauren, Joel, Sarah, Daniel, Patrick, Isaac, Matthew, Michael, Jessica, Jordan, David, Rachel, Kelsey, David, Raymond and great grandchildren Amara and Garrett.

The memorial service will be conducted July 15, from 6 to 8PM at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV. The funeral service will be held at the same location on July 16 starting at 11AM. She will be interred next to her late husband, Alfred Parker at the Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Sarton WV.
