UNION, WV – Louise C. Mines, 90 formerly of Gap Mills, WV and more recently of Union, WV, passed away peacefully at the Lindside Healthcare Center on August 27th, 2025. Born June 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Etta Mae Craft. She was a lifetime homemaker who loved her family more than anything as well as a lover of all animals. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed arts and crafts, collecting knick-knacks and watching Westerns.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Calvin, two sons, George Thomas and James Robert and two sisters, Ada Lucas (Willie) and Mae Mines (Edgar).

She is survived by one son, Ronald Eugene (Phyllis) and one daughter, Veronica Lee (Ross), four grandchildren, George Thomas, Jr., Jason (Kayla), Stacy and Samuel, four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, August 31st, 2025, at Carmel Cemetery, Zenith Road, Gap Mills, WV.
