SINKS GROVE, WV --- Lottie Jane Kirby Hall, age 79, of Sinks Grove, WV passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her daughter's residence in Union, WV. Born October 5, 1938 at Union, WV she was the daughter of the late Emory and Allie Broyles Kirby. Lottie was a loving and caring homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and trying new recipes. She was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church at Sarton, WV. She had served as a Sunday School Teacher and she also scheduled the many gospel sings held at the church. She had also attended the Union Memorial Baptist Church at Union, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Irvin who passed away February 18, 2011 and Drema Kirby who passed away November 8, 2017. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Robert "Bob" Hall of Sinks Grove, WV; one son, Kirby D. Hall of Fairlea, WV; one daughter, Cindy Weikle and husband Bobby of Union, WV; two grandchildren, Matthew Weikle and wife Jessica of Marlton, NJ and Brandy Lester and husband Lloyd of Union, WV; four great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Sienna, Owen, and Lydia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Pastors, Mark Shafer, Bob Ratliff, and Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church at Sarton, WV. Friends may call Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
