PICKAWAY, WV --- Lois Louise Young Allen, 85 of Pickaway passed away at home of a daughter, Mary Ann Level, Friday morning, December 22, 2017 following a long illness.
She was born at Pickaway, WV, May 1, 1932 a daughter of the late Basil A. and Mary Louise Boone Young.
She was a former employee of B. F. Goodrich, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church at Pickaway and she attended Fairview Christian Church at Keenan.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband Richard Lee "Pete" Allen, and a grandson, Bugsy Allen.
Surviving are 3 sons, Richard Lee "Rick" Allen and wife, Sherry of Willow Bend, Basil "Barry" Young Allen and wife, Terry of Glen Daniels, Arnold Scott "Scotty" Allen and wife, Patricia of Sinks Grove; 2 daughters, Debra Kay "Debbie" Wilson and husband, Robert of Union, Mary Ann Level of Pickaway; a sister, Wanda Young Fullen of Fairlea; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union Pastor Gene Fullen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery at Union, WV.
