SINKS GROVE, WV --- Linda Carol Pence, 72, of Sinks Grove, WV passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her home following a short illness.
She was born at Salt Sulphur Springs, WV May 20, 1944 a daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Dunbar Carter.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Pence on November 8, 2011 and a son, Harry Wykle.
Surviving are 2 sons, Clinton Arnold Pence and wife, Angie of Lindside and Mark Anthony Pence and husband, Sam Winkler of Roanoke, Va.; 2 daughters, Lisa Ann Woods and husband, Larry of Sweet Springs and Tammy Jo Johnson and companion, Jimmy Martin of Gap Mills; 3 brothers, Calvin Wayne Carter and wife, Janice of Union, Roger Dixon and wife, Shirley of Union and Eddie Dixon and wife, Patsy of Union; 2 sisters, Bonnie Farren and husband, Gary of Alderson and Lorie Dixon of Rick Creek, Va.; 6 grandchildren, Patricia Faulkner and fiancé, Danny Pitzer, Noah Pence, Johnny Pence, Heather Pence, Dean Woods , Matthew Woods; 6 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 2 pm. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union. Burial will follow in the Mt. Alexander Church Cemetery at Sarton.
