UNION, WV --- Laura Marie Holdren Fleshman, age 60, of Union, WV passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV following a long illness. She was born May 15, 1963 in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Laura was a CNA most of her adult life and loved her family very much.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Eugene Holdren. She is survived by her children, daughter, Maggie Miller (Lee) of Peterstown, WV, and son, Joshua Holdren (Mary) of Union, WV; husband, Walter "Junior" Fleshman of Union, WV; her mother, Margaret Ellison  of Rich Creek, VA; brother, David Cox (Tasha) of Narrows, VA; five grandchildren, Conley, Colten, Waylon, Isabella, and Carson; two nieces, Jennifer and Hayleigh Cox; best friends and sisters by heart, Shannon Cox Asbury and Tabby Blankenship; a nephew, Hunter Cox, and three great-nephews, Jaxon, Lucas, and Logan.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Big Ridge, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
