UNION, WV – Larraine Givens Caudill, age 78, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at her home in Union, WV. Born December 26, 1945, in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Adele Cianci. Larraine previously worked as a Customer Service Representative for Southern California Edison, the fourth largest electric utility in the US. Thereafter, she managed an interior decorating shop in Blue Jay, CA, before moving on to own and operate a collectible gift & toy shop in Sky Forest, CA, specializing in unique and rare items.

While her children were in school, she was a teacher assistant, room mother, and a varsity cheer coach for several years. In 1995 Laurie and husband Bill retired to Union, WV.  They established "Rainbow Tree Photography" specializing in photo memories for local sports team athletes through 2009.

Laurie was an artisan, loving spinning, weaving, and beading. Locally, she was an active long-time member of the Fiber Arts Network (FAN). She also taught weaving to the students at Mountain View Elementary and Middle School. Laurie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and true friend of many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Cianci, of Henderson NV. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of nearly 50 years, William Caudill of the home; two sons, Bryan Givens of Apple Valley, CA, and Michael Caudill of Cocoa Beach, FL; one daughter, Kelly Caudill Rennick and husband Chris of East Greenwich, RI; and two grandchildren, Cameron Rennick and Ashley Rennick.
