GAP MILLS, WV --- Landon Maguire Lowe, 17, of Gap Mills, WV passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Union from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was born at Lancaster, PA., April 22, 2000 a son of Christopher Walter and Sherry Porterfield Lowe.
He was a senior at James Monroe High School where he played football and baseball, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletics, a member of the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith where he served as youth pastor and a lifeguard at Hart's Run.
He was preceded in death his paternal grandfather, Walter Lowe.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Kaden Lowe of Gap Mills; a sister, Jordan Lowe of Gap Mills; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Phyllis Porterfield of Gap Mills; paternal grandmother, Virginia Lowe of Beckley; paternal great grandmother, Dessie Lowe; aunts and uncles, Dean Porterfield of Nashville, Timmy Lowe and Jessica of Arthurdale, Kimberly Lowe of Beckley.
Funeral Services will be held 2 pm. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Crimson Springs Church at Zenith with the Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Zenith (across from the church).
Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, July 28, 2017.
