Kenneth Troy Forren's Obituary
Kenneth Troy Forren, 52, of Williamsburg, WV passed away suddenly on September 25, 2016. He graduated from Greenbrier East High School and was happily employed along with his dear friends at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Troy was very passionate about farming. Farming has been a centerpiece in his life since an extremely young age. Throughout his youth he was involved in FFA leadership and a State Chapter Farmer.
He will be remembered for his nurturing heart and compassion for youth in need around the area. During the past years, Troy dedicated his life and time to raising and parenting many young men. In his foster parenting, he provided and matured almost 60 children.
Troy is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, John and Betty Forren of Fort Spring, WV and Harry and Margaret Matheny of Boynton Beach, Fla.
He is survived by his parents, Francis and Elizabeth Pence of Union, WV and Glen and Pat Forren of Roanoke, VA. Daughters, Kelsie Bostic (Garrett) of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Kendra Forren of Fort Spring,WV. Adopted sons, Jay Kennedy (Nichole) and children of Williamsburg, WV and Dylan Forren of Williamsburg, WV and Casey Bennett, at home. Brother, Randy Forren of Panama City, FL and sister, Kristi Dalton and companion Mike Richmond of Fort Spring, WV. Step-sisters, Vickie King (Greg) and Jackie Dixon (Tony) of Sinks Grove, WV; Step-brothers, Dr. Timothy Pence of Lewisburg, WV and Larry Coscro (Jenny) of Second Creek, WV; Survivors also include many family members spread throughout the area.
Services will be held at Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV at 4 pm October 1, 2016 with his son-in-law Reverend Garrett Bostic officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 pm on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Groves Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
