FRANKFORD, WV --- Keith David Dowdy, age 30, of Frankford, WV, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV, following a long illness. Born December 31, 1988 at Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Dreama Ellen Workman of Ravenna, KY and the late Gary Hayes Dowdy. Keith was a 2008 graduate of Greenbrier East High School. He was a mechanic and had worked at several auto dealerships throughout Greenbrier County. He was a loving father and uncle and he loved his family dearly. In addition to spending time with his two daughters and family, he loved fishing and being in the great outdoors.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his two daughters, Haven and Olivia Dowdy and their mother, Kimberly Ward of Frankford, WV; three brothers, Gary Dowdy and wife Christy of Williamsburg, WV, Tim Dowdy and Danielle of Frankford, WV, and Jacob Dowdy and wife Stephanie of White Sulphur Springs, WV; step-father, Floyd Wayne Workman of Ravenna, KY;  five nephews, Donovan, Gabriel, Tanner, Blake, and Colan Dowdy; two nieces, Paige and Bailey Dowdy; and one great nephew, Brier.

Friends may call Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV. In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation will follow the visitation.
