Judy Porterfield Magrum died December 10, 2014. Born March 3, 1949 to the late Grover Baker Porterfield and Ethel Clarkson Porterfield. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Paul Magrum who passed in 2005. She is survived by her son Kenneth Magrum and daughter Heather Magrum, of Bowie, MD, twin brother Jim Porterfield and his wife Sue of Crows, VA. , sister Margaret Carter and husband Paul Carter of Sweet Springs, WV, brother Dale Porterfield and wife Shelby Porterfield of Hemitte, VA, sister Gail Crosier of Covington, VA, sister Peggy Cook of Manassas, VA, sister Carol Webb of Newport News, VA, Sister Betty Flanagan and husband Charlie Flanagan of Sweet Springs, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy graduated from Gap Mill High School in 1967 and started working for the federal Government in 1967, she continued to work there until her retirement in August 2008, after 41 years of service. She was regularly attended and was a member at Woodlawn Baptist Church for 35 years.
Family will receive friends Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5001 Church Rd. Bowie, MD 20720, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1p.m. Interment will take place Sunday, December 14, 2014, 2 p.m. at Carmel Cemetery, Gap Mills, WV.
