UNION, WV – Judy Kay Long Booth, 80, of Union, WV, passed away on March 29, 2025, at her home.  Born on March 11, 1945, in Peterstown, WV, she was the youngest daughter of the late Homer C and Edith Wilson Long.

Judy was a 1963 graduate of Peterstown High School. She helped milk the cows and raise the calves on the family farm for 20 years.  Judy also truly enjoyed raising Purebred Dorest Sheep for over 25 years. She was a member of the Union Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Long Furrow; her in-laws, Eugene and Catherine Booth; a brother in-law Barry Booth; and grand-nephew, Ian Dransfield.

Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Earl Wayne Booth; children, Greg (fiancée Christine Brooks) and Sharon; a sister, Linda Stimpson (John); and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Union Memorial Baptist Church (PO Box 195, Union, WV 24983).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Mark Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at the Dunn Cemetery in Peterstown, WV.

A visitation will be held from 7:00PM until 9:00PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
