UNION, WV – Joseph Lynn Knight Sr., age 66, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. Born November 28, 1959, in Bristol, TN, he was the son of the late Sidney Irving Knight Sr. and Patsy Mae Furrow Knight. Joseph was a retired truck driver who loved spending time outdoors and reading his newspapers. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney "Chip" Knight Jr. of Fredericksburg, PA, and Alvin Knight of Covington, VA; and two nephews, Travis Brown and Taylor Brown of Louisville, KY.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Joseph Lynn Knight Jr. and fiancé Tiffany Lynn Callis of Peterstown, WV; siblings, Thomas Knight of Union, WV, Teresa Knight of Hinton, WV, Della Knight of Union, WV, Carla Easterling of Hinton, WV, and Randy Knight and Connie Cozort of Peterstown, WV; special friends, Bob and Pam Trent of Fort Meyers, FL; and his special dog, Teenie.

In keeping with Joseph's wishes, he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ( PanCAN Donation ).
