HOLLYWOOD, WV --- John Stuart Vandegrift, age 65, of Hollywood, WV, was born March 14, 1956, and departed this earth on Wednesday November 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rena Feury Vandegrift and Paul Vandegrift, his sister Edna Boggs, and his best friend, John Feury. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Lane, grandchildren, Taylor Cranmer, Josh Cranmer, and Gavin Vandegrift; great granddaughter, Clarissa (Clary) Cranmer; sister, Darlene Carter (James); brother, Paul Vandegrift, Jr., (Barbara), and their daughter, Allie; nieces and nephews, Sherri, Lori, Bobby, and Shawn; and numerous adopted grandbabies, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Shirley Glover officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. In keeping with the John's wishes, following his services, he will be cremated.
