SINKS GROVE, WV --- John Clinton Moore, known to most as "Clint" or "Deacon", age 98, of Sinks Grove, WV, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at his home following a short illness. Born December 30, 1923 in Sinks Grove, WV, he was the son of the late William Oscar Moore, Sr. and Ella Katherine Wylie Moore. After graduating from High School, he left his familiar roots behind choosing to move to Delaware to enter the workforce. While there, he met some of his dearest lifelong friends. Following his work career, Clint moved back to Sinks Grove, WV making it his permanent home. He was known for being a good friend and neighbor to all. He was also the "weighmaster" for the Highland Green Farm, now known as the Kilcollin farms.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Medford and Elizabeth Peters; three brothers, Robert T. Moore, William Oscar Moore, Jr., and James Moore. He was survived by many special friends around the area, and one very dear friend, Bailee Hylton.

In keeping with Clints wishes, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be placed in New Lebanon Cemetery in Pickaway, WV at a later date.
