GREENVILLE, WV --- Joe Barry Thomas, age 82, of Greenville WV entered his heavenly home on December 13, 2020. He was the son of the late Sidney Ballard Thomas and Beulah Surface Thomas. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Wygal Thomas; daughter, Pam Thomas of Alexandria VA; son, Jeff Thomas (Lynette) of Morgantown WV; daughter, Paula Ellison (Bert) of Greenville WV; grandchildren – Tanner Thomas (Alison) of Suffolk VA; Kaysey Thomas (CJ) of Brooklyn NY; Erin Ellison of Greenville WV; sister, Peggy Wilson (Hugh) of Greenville WV; nieces, Debra Neel of Greenville WV and Deana Wills (Dane) of Peterstown WV; step-grandchildren Angie Mann (Kenny) and Jessie Waldron (Woody) of Greenville WV. He was an extended father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, neighbor, and friend to many others.

Per Joe's wishes there will not be a memorial service. The family will celebrate his life when they can be together again later in 2021. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be sent to the Greenville United Methodist Church, c/o Randall Young, Treasurer, 323 Deep Valley Road, Lindside WV 24951.
