COVINGTON, VA – Jerry Bell Humphreys, age 99, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. Born June 9, 1925, in Laurel Branch, WV, he was the son of the late Drewie and Hallie Bell Humphreys.

Jerry was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran and member of the VFW. He later was owner/operator of the Maytag Appliance Store in Covington, VA. Additionally, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Covington and enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roslyn "Rosie" Kelly Humphreys; and two brothers, Earnie and Bill Humphreys. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Carmel Cemetery in Gap Mills, WV.
