INVERNESS, FL --- The Service of Remembrance for Miss Jenna Glea Surface, age 66 years, of Inverness, will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Miss Surface was born August 3, 1955 in Glendale, Arizona to Billie and Millie Surface and came to Inverness in 1972 from Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, New Mexico. She passed away Monday, December 6, in Inverness. Miss Surface retired from the Citrus County School System as a teacher's aide after 42 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the First Church of God and a 1974 Graduate of Citrus High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Billie Marshall Surface Jr. Surviving are her brother, Dewey Surface, Clermont, GA; sister: Gayna Beasley, Inverness; 8 nieces; 2 nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery at Keenan, WV.
