Jeffery Lewis Miller, 55 of Garner, NC formerly of Union passed away on March 25, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC following a short illness.

He was born in Union, WV December 20, 1958 a son of Kate Lucas Miller of Union and the late Elvin Lewis Miller.

Mr. Miller was an auto mechanic and a 1977 graduate of Union High School.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents and a granddaughter, Melanie Perron.

Surviving is his companion, Tresa Hines of Garner, NC; 3 daughters, Rebecca Hodge and husband, Kenny of Peterstown, Stephanie Woods and husband, John of Clifton Forge, Va., Jessica Dressler and husband, David of Millboro, Va.; 9 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Crosier and husband, David of Knightdale, NC; a brother, Dennis Miller and wife, Nancy "Cody" of Gap Mills; special nephews and niece, Dave Crosier, Dennis D. Miller and Susan Marcks; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Rev. Bob Ratliff officiating.

Friends may call at the Groves Funeral Home in Union from 6 – 8 pm. Saturday.
